Welcome to the St. John the Baptist Parish 4-H program website! We’re excited to kick off another year of 4-H, and this year's theme is “Game On: Skills for Life. Just like in sports, success isn't determined by talent alone. It comes from practice, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, and a willingness to keep learning. Through 4-H, youth have the opportunity to develop these life skills while discovering their passions and preparing for their future.
At the same time, we are committed to helping young people go Beyond Ready by providing experiences that build confidence, foster meaningful relationships, and equip them with the skills needed to thrive in school, careers, and life. Whether through club meetings, camps, conferences, service projects, competitions, or leadership opportunities, every experience helps youth strengthen skills that will serve them long after their time in 4-H.
As a proud former 4-H member, I know firsthand the impact this program can have. 4-H is more than a club. It's a community that connects young people across Louisiana, throughout the United States, and around the world. It is a place where youth discover their spark, build lasting friendships, and develop the confidence to make a difference.
As your St. John Parish 4-H Agent, my goal is to help every young person find opportunities to learn, lead, serve, and grow. Whether you're a new member, a returning member, or a parent exploring 4-H for the first time, we're glad you're here and invite you to join us as we build skills, create memories, and prepare for whatever comes next.
The game is on, and your 4-H journey starts here!
